MAPS Media Institute is a non profit educational organization whose mission is to empower, inspire and prepare Montana’s 8th – 12th grade students to succeed in the 21st century. Combining professional media arts instruction with compassionate mentoring, MAPS helps young people view their lives through a lens of possibility - engaging with their communities as supportive citizens, while learning relevant communication skills and experiencing “real world” opportunities.

Established in 2004 in Ravalli County, MAPS also has afterschool and summer programs in Lewis and Clark County (hosted by the Holter Museum of Art) and serves students on the Flathead Reservation and Lake County (hosted by the Boys & Girls Club).
