CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Entrepreneur is a business readiness class geared to help MAPS students identify their interests, recognize their individual skills and learn how to turn these into 21st-century career paths. Students are engaged to think about tomorrow and determine what they need to shape and create their futures. Students learn about the business world and explore creative strategies to develop new business opportunities for themselves and our community. A key component of the class will be to actually create working businesses and bring them to reality. This ‘making it happen’ component is a cornerstone to MAPS hands-on instruction.

Class Size: 20-25
Days: Friday 
Class Time: 3:30-5:30 pm

 

Entrepreneur is a tuition-free 32-week course split into four 8 weeks sessions. Students can take one or more of these sessions. First-year students are encouraged to complete all four sessions of one course.
